What is Lime?
Lime is a micromobility company founded in 2017 that operates shared electric scooters, bikes, and mopeds in over 280 cities worldwide. Their mission is to make transportation shared, affordable, and carbon-free. For this project, I developed interactive website modules to enhance Lime’s website user experience. I aimed to resolve pain points and refine the interface while maintaining brand consistency.
Cookie Consent
Websites use cookies to remember user preferences, personalize the browsing experience, and track user behavior. These pop-ups are intentionally adamant because the site won’t know how to respond best until a user accepts or denies the message. This pop-up design introduces a fresh illustration style to the website and is interactive, responding to the user’s cursor.
Error 404
In addition to the cookie consent pop-up, I illustrated and animated an error page for Lime’s user interface. Since error pages typically deliver bad news to the viewer, I used dynamic illustrations to soften this pain point.
